Surrounded by the green forests of Bucium, the peacefull oasis of The Onyx Resort awaits its guests at The Rustic Restaurant - with a Moldavian specific, where tradition is at home. The carved wood tables, the ceramic mugs and wiping towels with folksy motives, all create a perfect ambiance for the folklore lovers. The secluded tables - arranged with taste, have names that will remind you of the old times: "At the Fisherman's"(La pescar"), "At the Baker's"( La Brutar"), " At the Landlady's(La Hangita), and "At the Vicar's"(La Popi). Every such table has its own particular note, and is decorated with bas reliefs created by Daniel Les, who also created the settings for the famous movie "Troy".
   The vined meat balls, the mutton jerky, and the Moldavian stew are the "piece de resistance". The pork traditional dish and the cheese, apple or pumpkin pies are made from fresh ingredients provided by Marwa&Co farm. For building up your appetite, you can watch the chefs while they are cooking these traditional delicacies. Some known folk artists have enjoyed meals in this traditional place : Sofia Vicoveanca, Irina Loghin, Dumitru Farcas.
