Climate change is a global issue affecting communities, lives, businesses, and economies around the world, and the hospitality industry is no exception.
The hotel industry contributes to an important percentage in terms of carbon emissions and affects the environment and communities. That's why we believe more responsible tourism could approach a better world.
To support our actions, we became part of the TRACE European Project.
TRACE is a project cofounded by the European Commission under the Single Market Program (SMP COSME), which aims to provide sustainability services such as strategies, training activities, and tools for tourism SMEs willing to innovate their business models and enhance their performance from a sustainability and circularity perspective.
Romania, as a member state of the United Nations Organization and the European Union, assumed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda within the UN Summit for Sustainable Development in September 2015, in Paris and is acting for their implementation.
